Our school sits across three lands. Awabakal to the east, Darkinjung to the south and Wonnarua to the North-west. Just west of us is Wollombi, a well known meeting place for many people.
We use Yamma as our Traditional greeting which is from the Awabakal language.

The Dharawal people are the traditional custodians of the land where my school is built. Their tribe is Norangerrogal their greeting is Warami -wellambamiyui yura – it is good to see you all people. I would love to win one of these beautiful mats to put in our library for all the children to enjoy not just my class. Fingers crossed
