Australian Indigenous artist, Peter Mackay “Judda” tells his story through traditional and non-traditional designs. Students can use his background paintings, while creating their own symbols or visual language to create their own stories, while discovering story telling in other cultures.
Templates and art materials are intended as a starting point for meaningful making and responding lessons; and discussions within this context should enrich student understanding whilst acknowledging, respecting and valuing Aboriginal identities and cultural expressions.
